This building you see here is a church called "The Barn". "The Barn" was developed and built by the Wesley Foundation at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. It was primarily developed by the Wesley Foundation to provide MGCCC students with a youth church so they may worship God and engage in fellowship. The director of the Wesley Foundation, Susan Vuyovich, has been inspired by the appearance of old barns for a few years. When she decided to build a church on the MGCCC campus, she felt God was asking her to build a church resembling a barn. This project has touched the lives of many students including myself. Many students found it as great opportunity to serve God and make a difference in peoples' lives.
A lot of students and I throughout the country came to help with this project. In about a year, The Barn was completed. It was an amazing task to overcome but it was definitely worth it. After seeing The Barn lit up at night, I saw it as a great opportunity to photograph The Barn. It was my first time using night photography. Fortunately, the pictures came out amazing. I decided to enlarge this picture and give it to Susan Vuyovich in appreciation for all she has done for me. The Barn has served as a home for our God and as a home for people to worship God. I have met many great people through this. I hope this story inspires you and may God blessings and mercy fill your lives!
